A singer, songwriter and guitarist with a down-to-earth style and dynamic voice!  Repertoire features a selection of folk, country, classic rock and top 40 favorites!  Covered artists include - Melissa Etheridge, The Eagles, John Denver, John Fogerty, Fleetwood Mac, Kenny Loggins, Amy Grant, Kathy Mattea, and more!

David Studer

David Studer is a musician extraordinaire . . .. playing acoustic music including folk, pop and rock.     He is also a songwriter and storyteller.  From the serious side to seeing the humor in life, his songs touch the heart and soul.    David's dream is to be a storytellin' "Grandpa", rocking on the porch with his guitar and a passel o' kids gathered 'round his feet.  David has found an outlet for his talents with a recent (soon to be permanent duo) with Sophia Staecker, A Company of Wayward Saints, and the library and Mayfest shows with Twee Zangers, plus solo shows of his own.  A born and bred Texan,  David has lived either in Granbury or Ft. Worth most of his life. . With a folksinging and storytelling career, doing the day job thing, and being the sort of Southern gentleman who goes above and beyond the call of duty to family and friends, David's days are full and rewarding!

Thanks to the
Cowtown Marathon 2008!

Once again, Sophia, was an entertainer on the streets of Fort Worth for the Cowtown Marathon! It was great fun (despite 38 degree weather) singing and playing as the runners passed her at mile marker 25!    This was her second year and she looks forward to being there again next hear. Sophia and David are Co-entertainment Chairman for the 2009 Cowtown Marathon
Sophia will be back on the streets "playing" for the runners this year,  while David will handle more pressing marathon needs.   Don't fret . . . if he gets the chance, he'll be there with Sophia whenever he can.
